How Does Mediation work?
How does Mediation Work? What is the cost? Parties come together with a trained, Professional Mediator through a series of sessions that last about 90 minutes each. Agreements are reached and the Mediator will prepare a Memorandum of Understanding which purely as an example can include Parenting Plans, Child Support, Equitable Distribution & Spousal Support in the case of divorce, or agreements that parties have reached for other issues (property disputes, employment disputes, etc.). The entire mediation process depends on the complexity of the issues. The cost is an hourly rate, no retainer, pay as you go. For more information on cost, please contact me using the form below.
