Mediation is popular in many cases, for example neighbor disputes, divorce, business disputes, landlord and tenant disputes, labor unions, management, property disputes, employment cases are all good candidates for mediation, barring any issues of violence between the participants.

Rates are set depending on the complexity of the case and are set hourly (so pay as you go through mediation). Rates typically start at $200 per hour, split between the two participants, and increase depending on location, mediation needs, etc.

More complex cases (multiple participants on both sides) will incur a higher cost for mediation. For four or more participants, the base rate will increase to $500 per hour (to be split by the participants).
